F/W 2013/2014
A fabric as a spider web, thick sugary, sparkling organza and pvc, muslins, satin And soft leather draw the horizon where Vincent’s fw 13/14.
The reflected light and the color stratified in soft iridescent fabrics form a Vitreous texture, like an aqueous gel. The shirts have a digital print on the front, with a cartoon mood inspired bt the Lights of folk festivals: sparkling, colorful, they create a dialogic connection with Artists like Massimo Bartolini and Mariagrazia Pontorno, from which Vincenzo Billeci drew inspiration.
Laces for skirts, thick as snow, are combined by frozen green mint organza And a nylon “glaze” a “glaze” under which you can see shine colored crystals As kept in apnea: are strings of colored bulbs under the smokes of the festivals.
Aqueous reflections and metal surfaces generate thick and glassy garments producing a myriad of colorful movements ranging from magenta to violet; from orange to pink dandy or as in the case of the screen skirt characterized by the central “ out out carrè ” draw a screen with refractive colors. A balance between geometric structures and dynamic colors, in a wardrobe that Tries to give a moment of poetic and fragile rainbow.
Beside his (already famous) "Cow bag" in this collection he propose us a "Rosalia" bag; a hand made clutch bag with a silver rose, inspired by the cult of Saint Rosalia.
Vincent woman dna is a combination of tradition, sicilian heritage with the modern approach and innovative materials.

INTERVIEW // IN BLACK UNTIL THE LAST BREATH!
Last month (April) i have been interviewed by Katja Horvat for Projekt27.
Projekt27 is a Slovenian Life Style and Fashion online magazine (in Slovene language).
With Ambient magazine (print edition) are the only fashion and design media i Love the most in Slovenija. They are the only one who push boundaries, which in Slovenija regrettably still are - especially in fashion media and economy around fashion. Most of people in Slovenija (who has power in economy) still thinks of fashion as a D-side part of business world and they don´t give fashion any chance to evolve. The country has quite few talented designers...ahhh the system is so wrong and if i go on, it will become a very loooong debate...so maybe next time.
You can see this interview on photos below or online on the Projekt27 website (where you can use an English translator to understand the interview).

NEW DESIGNER // HIBU. / #02 "YOUTH"
Bio
The young and recently launched Lisbon based fashion label HIBU. Co-developed by Marta Gonçalves and Gonçalo Páscoa, creates street wear that are not stuck just in one gender, combining deconstructive elements with functionality, comfort and a little bit of drama.
About "YOUTH"
Gonçalo Páscoa,22-years-old HIBU. co-founder and designer, describs it: “YOUTH was born out of melancholia out of the carefree feeling we used to have as kids… That feeling that allowed us to play and imagine beyond what others wanted or thought about us. We had no rules, no boundaries, only freedom to be whatever and whomever we felt like it. This collection is all about that, that freendom. It tries to showcase an effortless, adrogynous and comfortable style by deconstructing basics and having a sporty feel. The movie Lords of Dogtown also played a major role when it comes to esthetics because it sums up all of the above thanks to the coolest skaters that ruled back in the days. YOUTH is a celebration of freedom and style.”
